Gatwick Airport Guide


Gatwick Airport is the second busiest airport in the United Kingdom and is located in Crawley, West Sussex, at a distance of approximately 30 miles south of Central London it serves as Europe’s leading hub for point to point flights. London Gatwick can be reached by train, coach or by road. This airport has two terminals with lounges, hotels, restaurants, and cafes.

London Gatwick North Terminal:
It is the newest terminal and has facilities for passengers with special needs, business travelers, travelers with children, a hotel, shops, and restaurants.

Lounges
The No.1 Traveler’s Executive Lounge has a fully equipped business centre with private meeting rooms. This airport lounge holds a spa service, has showers, food, and drink. The Servisair’s Wentworth Lounge has a business and relaxation zone and a safe and fun zone for children. This lounge is facilitated with soft play areas, a TV, complimentary bar, showers, toilets and much more.

Hotel:
Sofitel London Gatwick Hotel is located on the North terminal and is a few minutes from Gatwick’s South terminal. This hotel has 518 luxury bedrooms and suites, 11 meeting rooms, 3 restaurants and 2 bars, and a fitness centre.

Shop, Eat and Drink:
A wide range of shops including retail shops, book stores, accessories, souvenir shops, electrical outlets and many more are available before security control, after security control, arrivals and baggage reclaim. This terminal is home to some of good restaurants, pubs and bars, coffee houses and snack shops.

London Gatwick South Terminal:
This is the first terminal in Gatwick airport and handles domestic, international and charter flights. This terminal is home to comfortable lounges, shops, restaurants, and a hotel.

Lounges:
No.1 Gatwick lounge in the South terminal has a bar, comfortable seating areas, an entertainment zone, VIP room, airport views, food and drinks and more. The Servisair Lounge offers complimentary beverages, snacks, television, toilets and showers. No.1 Traveler has a BAA conference and business centre and it is fully facilitated with meeting rooms, business services, high speed internet access, flat screen PCs and much more. Family lounges are also available at this terminal.

Hotel:
Hilton London Gatwick Airport is situated in the South terminal and has soundproof guest rooms, executive rooms, an executive lounge, a bar, cafe, restaurants, and a fitness centre.

Shop, Eat and Drink:
A wide range of shops including Boots, Moneycorp, The Body Shop, WHSmith are located before and after security, arrivals and baggage reclaim. Restaurants serving delicious food, cafes, energetic pubs and bars are also a part of this terminal.
